Summary: Commodities have fallen fast and hard in the wake of the Coronavirus’ pummeling of nearly every asset class. This is not surprising as Chinese industrial output, as well as exports of key materials have ground to a halt over the last month. However, given the virus’s deteriorating foothold in China, as well as the upcoming changing of the seasons, investors should start looking beyond the epidemic and into the recovery. MRP sees historically cheap commodities ready to explode once warehouses begin to empty out and the Dollar returns to depreciation.
